ReplyDeleteJanene #77
I've heard of flour pounding but not flower pounding...hope it's not similar! Happy WOYWW. Pam#23
ReplyDeleteI like the idea of the spending journal - not because I would want to know how much I actually spend but it's useful to know where stuff was purchased from. I shall be checking back on your blog for flower pounding - sounds intriguing!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for your visit to my blog - sorry I'm late replying - Have a great week!
I work in Corel Draw and draw the size of the sachet on my screen so I know what area I am working in before I go to print my negative. Also I have found that with detailed stamps I give it the count of 3 on the back when exposing the sachet so that it all stays in place before I do the 2min exposure on the front. I have not found a photo of me that works as a stamp yet, I have tried that too! I must fiddle around with that a bit more. Yes the sachets are VERY pricy, but so nice to make just what you need! #22
ReplyDeletePS. my ink was not dark enough so I print two negatives and overlay them so they are really black and don't let light through.
ReplyDeleteDon't think I dare write down my spending on stash!Looking forward to seeing the texiles.
ReplyDeleteKaren #73
well I think the stamp is looking very clever, and nice cars too! What will you do I wonder! Have a great crafty Week!! HaPPy WoYwW!

Great stamp! I am trying to visit everyone! jenx 129
ReplyDeleteHi Janet,
ReplyDeleteYou asked me about the snow and when does it stop. We've had snow through May. As far as gardening the rule around here is don't plant anything before Mother's Day. Sometimes that's just so long to wait!
I live in a small town that's 7,000 feet up! Most people associate New Mexico with desert - that's mostly the southern part of the state.
Hugs,
Kay
Awesome desk and I love then ledger for your crafty purchases. I need to do something like that so I will know what I have and what I dont! Sorry I have been absent the past couple weeks but life has taken its toll and sometimes you just have to give in to it and go with the flow! Thanks for sharing and have a great week! Vickie #58
ReplyDeleteHow funny! was JUST thinking of "flower pounding" the other day - it's been YEARS since I've seen that referenced. And the stamp did turn out good - I've had mixed success with the stamp maker kit myself, but good success with punching sticky backed fun foam letters (with a QuicKutz or Nestie die) backwards and sticking them on a bit of acetate to make a stamp. and LURVE that fabric!
ReplyDeleteHappy (late) WOYWW

G'day Janet
ReplyDeleteI've resigned myself to the fact that I shall ever be running late to get to others blogs due to my work but here I am. OMG I wish I had a craft show to go to NOW LOL. I too have a stamp making machine and yes I have wasted some sachets too with crap stamps that I have made...must pull it out of the cobwebs soon LOL
hugs

I wish I had kept a spending journal! I'm trying to make a "stamp" journal, but I keep getting distracted lol. LOVE your stamp. Happy Belated WOYWW! #152
ReplyDeleteHi Janet, sorry it's taken me so long to return your visit, don't know where time goes these days.
ReplyDeleteLove your tree stamp, have definitely seen that one before, but can't remember who makes it. Still, I'm not buying anything else until Mr Mojo is back from his hols, unlike you with another good spend under your belt - enjoy.

Goodness...I like to get my parcels safely stashed in my room, looking like they have been there for eons! No spending journal for me...the other half might find it! teehee
ReplyDeleteI am creating a book of my stamps though,...does that count?
Hi Janet, I'm really impressed that you keep a spending journal, impressed and amazed! Do you keep it under lock and key, top secret, for your eyes only ... I most certainly would have to. On second thoughts, I don't keep one for one very good reason ... I really don't want to know how much I spend on my crafty obsession :)
ReplyDeleteThat fabric is amazing - just the sort of fabric little boys drool over.
If you pop over to my blog, you will learn something of interest to you :))
Hope you are enjoying the weekend. Elizabeth x #40
Trying to get back in the loop after Holland and not being too well but at last your last lovely quilt has been posted!! Woo hoo!
ReplyDeleteSpeak soon,

Like the tree stamp.
