T on Tuesday

Morning all

I haven't posted here     http://www.alteredbooklover.blogspot.co.uk/2014/10/tea-stands-for-trip-to-exploration.html?m=1 with elizabeth for a while ..... Time ... You know don't you. But this morning is a chillin day and while checking my phone I came across a t  Tuesday post from julia dunnit   http://stamping-ground.blogspot.co.uk/2014/10/t-for-tuesday.html?m=1  about go to mugs just as I was making a coffee in my go to mug. 

This is mine ...  

I brought this mug back in the late  1970s I enjoyed using it for a while, then 'lost it'

Mm ....... fast forward to February 2014. My handyman moved offices at work and brought home some 'stuff' from his desk...... Yes MY mug has been on his desk for 30 years (OMG) with pens in. I have no recollection of how or why it was there. Now I use it everyday as my go to mug. Coffee tastes even better now. 

Talking of T' s I am currently trying to explain to Erin that these 2 T s aren't the same

WOYWW 280 A week in the life of ...... my desk

Hi Deskers

My desk recently has been a bit neglected and the same every Wednesday, so this week I though I would show that it does look different on different days of the week.
Julia asks us to show our desk on a Wednesday so here it is.

 

Thursday.... Magazines moved  and journal ready to play with on Friday.

I had a cold last week and handyman told me to rest up Friday and Saturday..... so I sat at my desk and caught up with my DLP journal....... this was the fruits of my labours.... quite pleased with these pages,  I felt very chilled ... but I still have my cold. Aghhhh!

Sunday ....most of the journal stuff cleared away .... drawer of ribbons added.

 

Monday .. ribbons put away and felting stuff brought out ......ready for a workshop at the weekend.

 

Tuesday ... OMG .......the first Christmas project  this year..... a display item I'm working on for work.... well, someone has to do it :-)

 

Wednesday... (ok.... I took this Tuesday evening, but it looks the same)... a basket of baby socks and some plastic bags.....  the big ( now even bigger) pile of magazines has returned. The next project I will be working on will be ..... the body to fit THAT dress. It could be a long job.

Maybe the desk wasn't so different day to day........ maybe next week.

WOYWW 279 I wont keep you long

Hi deskers
Well here we are on another chilly WOYWW morning... Autumn seems to have arrived with a bump..... especially here in the fairy grotto as I have another cold (aghhhhh). Therefore  I wont keep you long and without further adieu....... here's my desk.

This was taken Tuesday morning before I had a bit of a tidy up while GD Erin was at pre school.
Lots of stuff..... just dumped

Later on it looked like this..... a bit tidier don't you think?
I still have a big pile of craft magazines to catch up on..... at least I have sorted then out to stampers and sewing ones.... on the right is a basket full of free sewing kits from said magazines..... my intention is to make them up ...... soon.
I did manage to make a card today ..... just the one .....  woohoo!

The  background is just stamped and the flowers are embossed with silver...... simples!
