WOYWW 302 not much

Hi Deskers
Is it Wednesday again . . . . so soon? yes I guess it is..... so time to show and tell.... here's my desk. Julia at the  stamping  http://stamping-ground.blogspot.co.uk/2015/03/whats-on-your-workdesk-wednesday  says keep it short .... there are a lot of desks to get around, but as  there isn't much to see, it won't be difficult . . .  even for me.

Front left is a big pile of magazine ..... waiting for me to sort through.... not sure when that will get done  (note to self.... stop buying magazines)
Front middle is a painted paper bag with ..... 'bits' in..... you know the type of paper pieces. I will use for 'something' probably in my DLP journal.
Front right ... the glass worktop saver I use with my heat gun.... I must have used it recently but cannot remember why.... oh well.
Just above that is a half painted box... one of my UFOs ... passed over to GD Erin to finish.... so now its her UFO .... sneaky eh? another one done LOL.
At the back are a few stamping supplies left out from a card I made but didn't photograph.
I did finish a page in my journal this week.

I think the prompt was something to do with the elements.

This is the start of this weeks page .... I started it at 2.30 am this morning  ... I forget the prompt.

I'm not sure where I am going with it..... the face is a bit scary isn't it?
Anyway ....That's all folks.... please leave a comment so I know you popped in.... and I can visit you back.

  1. don't think there's much wrong with the face- maybe it's the crafting at 2.30 am that's the problem.. love the page with the raindrops! Good idea to give GD your UFO's!! Helen 11

  3. I can't imagine why you are crafting at silly o'clock but your card reminds me of a steamed up window that a little girl has cleared a space to peep out of :-) I rather like it.
No early morning twinnie fun for me today as I'm recovering from a chesty cold caught from them last week so I'm able to have a leisurely snoop round the Wednesday desks :-)

  5. LOL! You might start a new trend or meme or whatever - find a UFO, pass it on.... And the face? That reminds me of the Keanes, who painted those "big eyed" kids and who are the focus of Tim Burton's new movie. Best description of their style? "sugary-sweet, yet demonic" :)
    Happy WOYWW day!

  7. Hi Janet!

You are a very busy bee! I see you have a pile of sewing mags - I am buying them too as I have a new sewing machine! Maybe I shouldn't have watched the Sewing bee! But I loved it and I hope to get back into sewing! Your journal pages are lovely!
    Have a lovely day
    Lots of hugs,

  8. I bought a sewing mag too and I intend to buy some material the next time we go to town (I don't drive this huge truck of ours so I have to wait until my DH is available to take me...)
I find the doll's face a bit frightening (watched too many horror film I guess)
    Have a great week,

PS I'm thinking of our fellow desk hopper Shoshi today who's operation has been postponed yet again! I can't imagine how she must be feeling.

  9. I have a pile of unopened mags! And then, what do I do? I go buy those lovely UK Mags at the bookstore, like Mollie Makes! Love your newest art journal page too. Happy WOYWW! Sandy Leigh #53

  10. Lovely busy desk, Janet, and I do love your fat juicy raindrops on your journal page! Thank you for your lovely comment and your kind words. It is a bore that it's been cancelled again, but it can't be helped and we've just got to be patient. Not having a date is the hardest part because it makes practical arrangements so difficult. I haven't got the energy to go in my ARTHaven at the moment, unfortunately - all this has taken a toll on my M.E. so I am just occupying myself on the laptop and relaxing on the recliner. My mojo has disappeared, but I am not worried - it will return once I'm through the surgery and on my way to recovery.

    Happy WOYWW,

  11. The face reminds me a bit of the Precious Moments children with the large expressive eyes. I like it. And a great busy desk! Happy WOYWW!

  12. Ooh, no, that face gives me the willies! I like the 2.30 am background though.....ah well, if you can't sleep, then it's best to get up and do something rather than toss and turn. I like the sneaky way you offloaded your UFO onto Erin, way to go. I shall take note and copy at some time, I think, lol!!

  13. Oh my! That face is a bit off putting, isn't it? I'm sure you'll do something to put her in her place though. I had a chuckle about your 'note to self.' I had that note to self a couple years back. It made me fret at first but then I didn't miss them. I did just recently decide to resubscribe to one magazine, for one year. Then a friend bought me a subscription to another magazine. Ut oh.... that slippery slope. Judy #64

  19. I am often tempted to buy sewing mags but really think I am better spending the money on fabric - they all seem so expensive these days don't they.
Love your pages - even the little face. x Jo

  20. I don't think the doll face is scary at all. It looks like she's peeking in on the page or something.

  21. Brilliant...love the dolls face, not scary at all. I like the idea of moving UFO's onto others, very sneaky :-)

Thanks for visiting my desk already

  22. I thought the sewing mag was a new stamp set lol. I'm really a stamping fiend these days. Your handy man's grumpy mug sounds fabulous! Fancrafting is my take on fangirling for crafts (which is when you are a fan of something and they do something amazing and you kind of lose your mind lol). This guy dancing is how I feel when I am fancrafting https://instagram.com/p/0VCAGyNgDo/
