Is it really Wednesday again .... so soon. back for another happy blog hop around the world.... you never know where it might lead c/o the inspiring Julia at the stamping-ground .
Here's my desk this week ... late on Tuesday evening .... but will be the same on Wednesday as I will be at work all day.
You can see gesso, paints, stencils and a paint pallet.... I never seem to remember to clean these ... they just get more layers of dried on paint.
Not really sure where I am going with it ... grungy, floral, pretty or weird? .... maybe a mix of all 4 ... now that would be weird.
Talking of weird here is the finished DLP page from last week complete with creepy/cute (delete as applicable) Blythe Doll faces.
I was quite pleased how it turned out in the end.
That's all folks I'm off to bed ... long day tomorrow.... see you on your desk later..... please leave a comment and your Mr Linky number if you have one..... Ta

I have UFO's much older than that... look forward to seeing what direction it takes! Have a great day, work or not! Helen 3
ReplyDeleteAh the big eyed kids again! Love the cog clock. I finished a Tando one, all gelli printed and lots of work, but the TICKING drove me crazy and I had to put it away. I'm probably just weird that way, but I'd say listen to it before you put in the effort to finish it if you are weird that way as well :)
ReplyDeleteHappy WOYWW day!

Sorry, but those faces creep me out.....brrrrrrr. I like your clock though, I think you should do all those things you suggested to it. The more the merrier :-)

Ps...I never cleaned my palettes either........
I like the DLP page...great sayings and pretty colors. My dad made lots of clocks from anything and everything. Hope to see it finished also. Enjoy WOYWW and have a fun week
ReplyDeleteI love the cog clog - I can't wait to see what you do with it. The finished page is looking fab - I think the faces work well and I like the phrases too. Hope you have a great week,

ReplyDeleteMore giant eyeballs! I'm not sure why but these ones aren't as creepy this time. I find the giant cog clock thing fascinating. I can't wait to see what you do with it. Judy #66
ReplyDeleteThose big eyes take me way back.

My vote on the faces is cute. Love the eyes. The whole page is lovely. I've never heard of a cog clock. The comment about it being noisy reminds me of a bird clock that HH bought for me years ago for our cottage. A different bird sound happens on the hour every hour. It was cute for the first day, but then I took the battery out and it has been "just a clock" ever since. Hee, hee.

My friend Anne Redfern made an MDF clock and it is hanging on my studio wall, I love it.
ReplyDeleteThe eyes on your girls are fabulous

ReplyDeleteLove your page but what are the dolls? They are super cute and I just love their eyes.
ReplyDeleteAs for the clock, well, somewhere - could be in the garage - is a clock I bought - ahem years ago - still waiting to be started so you are not on your own. Bet you get yours done whilst mine is still missing.
Hugs, Neet 28 with apologies for being so late. Had visitors, had to visit - just lost two days, or was it three? xx
