  12. I know you said not to ask, but really? Fish fingers for the dog's breakfast?! Either you ran out of dog food or that is one pampered pooch! The desk may be messy but it shows a lot of promise with fun things at the ready.

  16. Hi Janet,

I really do love that union jack box!!! Fish fingers sound pretty appetizing -- my poor dog gets dog food - unless I'm eating pizza. Then she likes pieces of the crust!

Your ATC is on it's way.

  18. Isn't Craft Stamper great? I tend to keep them next to my bed until I get fed up of the pile and have to put them away. Lovely stuff on your desk and looking forward to seeing your layout. I need to do one of the Torch coming through - plenty of Union Jacks of course!
Spent the last four days watching TV in my craft room so I could "play and view"! Though I did get distracted a few times! See my below post for one of them!

  19. Doo Doo Doo Doo! Your message has come through and I haven't even gone yet! Chain stitching is where you feed fabric through the machine without cutting the thread in between. For example I am sewing the squares diagonally quarter inch from the centre line. Instead of removing each piece and sewing the next, I just add in the next squares. It is quicker and saves cotton as well as saving you losing them. But when you hold them up to snip they look like bunting, hence the quip about LLJ!
    Hope this helps!

  20. Hello!

The Jubilee was wonderful! I read/watched everything I could! The Queen looked lovely and I keep Prince Phillip in my prayers that he is home again soon. I love the photo of your workdesk - so many things to work on! Wishing you a happy one!

    Hugs,

  21. I almost forgot as well Janet, what with the jubilee and the long weekend it totally confused me (doesn't take much to do that).
Thanks for dropping by - eye getting better but I'm going to limit my WOYWW visits this week, had to call in to say thanks for your lovely ATC which arrived yesterday, I like the crown - can see you have had the meltpot out.

  22. I know you said not to ask, but really, fish fingers for Rosie? There's a scrapbook page if ever I heard of an idea!! Thing is, your desk looks poised for production from here, are the cards waiting to be sent or put away I wonder; they are lovely.
