anyway i have been trying to make flower brooches for my table top sale next month. i thought i would get a head start now that i have finished the wedding invites. sorry i can't show them before Emma has seen them can I.
the brooches are mostly made from grunge paper and painted with Tim Holtz dabbers.
they are cut out using the big shot and Marianne's creatable dies. i have also used patterned card and brads for the middle. none of the brooches are actually finished except for the red one in the middle which was made for me by Vicky from work. it is my inspiration for the others. hopefully i will get them finished in the next few days.
here's looking at your desks now. WOYWW94 stamping-ground.blogspot.com/

It looks like you have some fun stuff going on!
ReplyDeleteOoooooo i so love all your flowers your working on, ive been wanting to have a go making different flowers for my cards, and you certainly have given me inspiration. Thanks for the lovely comment on my blog, the stamps from stamin up come unmounted and they give you the wooden blocks to put them on, but i cant decide if to put them on the wood or not, as im used to unnmounted. But i keep looking at the blocks and thinking it would be a waste if i didnt put them on. Oh decisions lol.
ReplyDeleteVery creative and so interesting looking. I'm lovin the flowers especially! TFS
ReplyDeleteYour brooches are sounding wonderful, I hope you show us the finished creations. It's amazing what you can do with paper crafting stuff isn't it?

Those brooches are great - what are you going to use to protect them from general wear-and-tear damage?
