WOYWW 238the Christmas edition

Well, here I am on Christmas morning joining in with WOYWW as usual, not showing my usual desk but my kitchen one which is rather busy. that was last night, I prepare in advance.
I'm actually still in bed at 7.30, 4 of my little chicks are still asleep too so no rush.

It's early so nothing is actually cooking yet.  Give me time!
Here is my desk from yesterday and the last pressie I had to do

Even though my girls and their men are in their twenties they still have to have chocolate coins at Christmas

This treasure chest is from Santa for Erin to hand out the contents

Inside is this

And this........
Chocolate treasure.
Wherever you are, whether you celebrate Christmas or not I would like to thankyou for visiting and leaving lovely comments all year. I wish you a peaceful holiday season.
If you get time visit Julia  stamping-ground.  and see what everyone else is up to. There may not be as many as usual so well done for joining in
Merry Christmas
I will pop by when I can it may not be today.... chocolate to eat , dinner to cook.

  1. How cute is that? And with chocolate too - what could be better for a jolt of energy to help you thru the cooking? I need to prep my roasties before the family arises (lovely the "kids" love their sleep more than the gifts nowadays :)) so I'll be brief...

    Happy WOYWW Christmas!
Mary Anne (waiting for the family to rise at #7)

  7. Looks like you are all prepared and are probably enjoying the day. I've only had gold coins once. They may be more traditional in Great Britain than here. I really love the chest the coins are kept in, though.

Thanks for being such a great friend and caring person this past year. Merry Christmas and happy WOYWW from #1.

  9. Our turkey is cooking, the kids are actually playing games and we're thoroughly chilled. I like the idea of the coins very much! and especially now there's Erin to give them out from her treasure chest.. How lovely. Happy Christmas!

  10. My hubby loves his chocolate coins too. The store I stopped at only had a huge container of them or single ones that were really big (5-inch diameter) so I got him a big one. Have a lovely Christmas and enjoy!

  16. What a lovely tradition, you can't beat chocolate coinage (well chocolate in any form, really!) Hope you have had a wonderful time with the family - I am home now and - YAY!! - the ceiling held up! What a nightmare, but so much worse for so many others, for which I am grateful but feel so sorry for them. Helen 6.

  18. Coming in late ....
Forgot all about toilet roll tubes!!! As well as the small box, I found a tiny little jar and managed to fold up a couple of $5 bills small enough to fit inside!! Such fun!!
Hope your Christmas was as good as ours.
