WOYWW 280 A week in the life of ...... my desk

Hi Deskers

My desk recently has been a bit neglected and the same every Wednesday, so this week I though I would show that it does look different on different days of the week.
Julia asks us to show our desk on a Wednesday so here it is.

Thursday.... Magazines moved  and journal ready to play with on Friday.

I had a cold last week and handyman told me to rest up Friday and Saturday..... so I sat at my desk and caught up with my DLP journal....... this was the fruits of my labours.... quite pleased with these pages,  I felt very chilled ... but I still have my cold. Aghhhh!

Sunday ....most of the journal stuff cleared away .... drawer of ribbons added.

Monday .. ribbons put away and felting stuff brought out ......ready for a workshop at the weekend.

Tuesday ... OMG .......the first Christmas project  this year..... a display item I'm working on for work.... well, someone has to do it :-)

Wednesday... (ok.... I took this Tuesday evening, but it looks the same)... a basket of baby socks and some plastic bags.....  the big ( now even bigger) pile of magazines has returned. The next project I will be working on will be ..... the body to fit THAT dress. It could be a long job.

Maybe the desk wasn't so different day to day........ maybe next week.
Pop over to the  stamping-ground where Julia will show you dozens of different looking desks.
If you have any questions or  leave a comment and want me to visit you back please leave your Mr Linky no..... so I can find you.
Janet

  9. Hi Janet, lolled at your final task! Nice to see your last few days of craft stuff- why does tidying and organising take so long? Love the journal pages, especially the peacock feathers. The bugs have been out in force last week, it seems, hope you are on the mend now.Have a great week, Hugs. Shaz #38 xxx

  10. I enjoyed watching your desk changes, and am looking forward to seeing your Christmas stuff you did.
I know what you mean by doing something about the body. My scales have been broken for a while but my waistband tells me I have put on shedloads of weight. Now I have a new scales but i don't dare inaugurate it. (well, I can't very well have a double brandy as soon as I get up now can I? Which is what I'll need when i see the result...)
Thank you for letting me peep over your shoulder.
    Have a good week.

PS I wrote two posts as otherwise it would be too long, but I did it the wrong way round. Now #26 takes you to the extra one.... oh never mind....

  20. Oh I love all those pages, so pretty! It was really fun to see how a crafty space changes day to day. Oh, and I was going to tell you that yes, I'm planning to sell a stack of tags as "art tags" because people use them with gifts and as a part of a gift, so it's a great time of year to do that! Thanks for visiting me! Hugs. Sandy Leigh #34

  21. Pity the body does not come with the dress? I too should do a day by day (blow by blow) of my desk for a week, it changes so much just from morning to night...not just day to day! I am late to visit as I had a self inflicted deadline to achieve...#19

  22. Oooh what fun, a daily "desk diary" lol! Lots going on there, that's for sure. I love your journal pages, and nice to see someone else doing felt too! We did needle felting last night at the class.

    Happy belated WOYWW,

  24. great looking desk. Must be a horrible job to have to play with fun new stuff and create stuff for work. I wonder if I could find such a job here in the states? hmm...might start looking. Sorry I am so late getting around this week but I can only sit so long and I start to hurt! I hate cold weather! Have a great week and thanks for sharing! Vickie #76

  26. Thanks for your return visit, Janet, and I'm glad you like my felt. The teacher suggested making brooches but I thought I'd make mine into a hair ornament because I'm not really a brooch sort of person.
