WOYWW 186

Hi world,
Normally I write my WOYWW post on a Tuesday, and this week is no different. see all the good stuff     here    Julia assures us she is posting this week.... in between the mince pies and the mulled wine !
I know it is Chrisdtmas day but this won't take long I'm keeping it short, while watching Downton.
Workdesks like to be included at Christmas too, so here is mine . . . .
This was taken last night.
There is table confetti, I had intended to use to decorate the festive table  . . . but in the end I forgot . . hey-ho I will use it for next years cards.
A  pre made calendar to add photos to

I still had one page to finish, but I couldn't until today. Decembers page!

A photo of Erin in her favourite present.... of course . . .  a cardboard box.

Well that's it for the writing..... except to say a very merry christmas to all my friends in blogland.
Peace and happiness to you all for the coming year.
I cannot promise to visit too many desk this week but will try and visit back.

See you on a workdesk very soon.

  1. Love the tot's favorite present. I still enjoy a good cardboard box myself, or any other type of container (why I have too much stuff). Happy day to you and yours! I'm skipping WOYWW again this week since I'm off work I don't need to be glued to the computer. I'm hoping to be glued to the craft desk. Um... not literally!

  2. Strange how children love cardboard boxes. I was so sad with the ending of Downton and wish these actors did not leave series resulting in endings like this. Wonder what will happen now?
    Happy New Year.

  14. Thanks for the sniff of the wine... exactly my tipple too! Erin looks adorable in her Christmas Dress and the box... it's always the way that the little ones love big boxes better than their toys.
Such a sad ending for Christmas Day on Downton... didn't they think it would dampen everyone's spirits. Coronation Street too. Bummer!
Enjoy the rest of the hols,
    Love Jo x

  17. Big boxes are a kids best imagination, maybe it can get turned into a doll house? Would be lovely! Waving hi from the rainy, but wishing it was snowing hills of North Carolina for the last WOYWW of 2012!!

  27. Aww what a gorgeous picture of Erin! She looks like she was having lots of fun there. For once this year my two were more interested in the presents than the boxes!

Thanks for your comment on my WOYWW post - nice suggestion to put one of my two monitors in DH's study to make room in my craft room... only one problem there... DH already has two monitors in his study as well!

  28. Lovely photo of Erin. I recall that my children, when they were the same age as Erin, loved nothing better than to play with the wrapping paper and boxes too :) Happy belated WOYWW, Boxing Day and wishing you a Good New Year too. Elizabeth x #30

  30. Hi Janet,

It looks like you had a nice Christmas. Isn't it so typical of kids enjoying the boxes more than the toys! Erin is darling. Were you referring to Downtown Abbey? My dad and his girlfriend are hooked on that. A few weeks ago they had a special showing of the first episode at a theatre and they went to see it. I haven't watched any of it but I must check it out.

Thank you for stopping by and visiting. What I saw in the aspen trees (besides the eyes) was a wolf looking back at me. I don't think I got a photo at the right angle.

    Here's hoping to a fabulous 2013!

    Hugs,
    Kay
