Anyway, want to see mine (desk) and lots of others over at the post office central aka stamping-ground
My desk Tuesday eve...... after Erin had gone home and the jet lag was finally beginning to go.
This is my main desk ...... not much change since 2 weeks ago, slightly tidier if anything. My documented Life Journal open at the last page I did. Ironically I had caught up...... now I am 3 weeks behind again... aghh!
Its not quite the same on the other desk.................................
I think I came home with a bit more stuff than I went with. Oh, why didn't I buy more of the cat in the hat fabric.... now that I'm home I love it even more. Don't know what I am going to make with it, ha ha.
the little pile of stamps front left were from a thrift store for 99 cents .... bargain..... even on holiday Handyman finds a charity shop LOL.
The pile on the right is all the leaflets and stuff I keep to make a smash type holiday journal with... along with my holiday diary which is almost up to date ... just the last 2 days to do.
All I have to do now is.... Yep find somewhere to put it all
Anyway GTG to bed .... back to work tomorrow (Wednesday)
promise to visit all who leave a comment.... you know the drill
see ya

I saw some of your pics on FB so can understand why you didn't find time to visit desks!! Cat in the Hat fabric - wow, love it! Hope work isn't too bad, first day back is usually a struggle! Helen 5
ReplyDeleteIt's always nice going on holidays but the worse part is coming home and going back to work. Yes we all do it find a craft shop when on holidays I thought this was a normal thing to do.

So thrilled to have followed your holiday on Facebook and glad you had a wonderful time. Love the fabric...think you need to stroke it til you find a job special enough to cut into it :-)

ah sound like it was fab time Janet and great to see your loot too, Shaz in Oz.x #35
ReplyDeleteAlways the case - buy some fabric and realise when you are home you should have bought more. Consolation is, maybe, that I felt like that with my purchase last year but still haven't used it. One of those "look, stroke, put back' things.
ReplyDeleteDon't work too hard.
Hugs, Neet 34
did you have to buy an extra bag to bring all that new stash home in?! I was so jealous of that fabric store you showed on FB, my jaw literally dropped! Have fun using it all!!
ReplyDeleteHugs, LLJ 30 xx
Happy to have you back, thrilled you've had such a fab holiday. And it's OK to be behind with your Journal - you gotta live a life worth documenting, huh! Love the CintheHat fabric, I'm fairly sure there are a few of us who would like to commission you to use it! Hope easing yourself back into Work isn't too difficult!
ReplyDeleteWow, you must have had a separate case for all that lot - looks like you'll be having loads of creative fun with it. Their stores really are so much bigger and overwhelming than ours aren't they! Hope you have a good week now you are back to normality! Diana #37

ReplyDeleteGlad the holiday was a good one - funny, I immediately thought of you the week I missed WOYWW cause I was cleaning...and came across a needle tatting book with a little project still stuck in the pages :) Enjoy the stash - and have you ever hear Ade Edmonson read TCITH? We had the tapes when the kids were little and Fox in Socks jus kills me, every time.
