Not much to show for 3 weeks is it ... The chocolate boxes aren't new ( oh wait, maybe one of them is ) yum yum ... My favourite chocolates .
Last time I was here I showed this picture of something I was making for my GS birthday.... Cannot find the picture but it was just of a sheet on the floor. It was supposed to be a teepee but sadly it's was never finished in time and now I've lost the incentive so I doubt if it will be .... Even though handyman did all the sewing together and even some of the painting.
Anyway that's all I've got the energy for now .... Hop over to see julia at http://stamping-ground.blogspot.co.uk/2015/04/whats-on-your-workdesk-wednesday-306.html For more interesting desks than mine ..... There's a whole world of crafty creative peeps out there you just need to know where to look. As I'm still at home I should have time to visit a lot of desks this week and return your visit if you leave me a comment and your Mr Linky no ....
Now go visit before the phone rings.......

Hi Janet, you poor thing, how frightening for you and I really hope you feel better soon and can enjoy some crafting. Look after yourself and rest lots. Thank you for spending some of your very limited energy on visiting my blog today, really kind of you :) Chocolate is my saviour, if you like mint chocs you should try Thorntons After Dinner Mints, my addiction has switched from Benedicks to these, they are so good at helping me feel better!

No, my background was created with finger painting not with a gelli plate.
ReplyDeleteSorry you have been ill, sounds as if it was definitely not a picnic. Hope you get well soon.

Ahh choccies... Nothing like them for the feel good factor! So sorry to hear you've been poorly with an allergic reaction - that could have been very serious indeed (my hubby is allergic to bee stings and had a very severe reaction, and has been told that if he's stung again it could be fatal untreated so he has an epi-pen with him at all times now). Your symptoms sound very scary indeed... Probably initially you didn't know what it was and feared it might not clear up - I am glad you were not on your own! Thank you for such a lovely comment. I am getting on OK with my convalescence but still as weak as a kitten and resting a good deal. My hubby is being truly wonderful. I had my histology results on Monday and not the news I'd been hoping for - the cancer was very aggressive and had spread to one lymph node so I am going to need chemo. Oncology appt. early May.

Well darn sounds like you have been bitten by the same bug I was. I was doing great all of January health and artwise then the first week of February I was sick as a dog for almost 2 weeks. It has been a slow go getting back up to feeling like doing something and it takes forever to get it done. Hope you are better soon. Thanks for stopping by my desk earlier. Vickie #8
ReplyDeleteHi sorry to read you have been unwell. Thanks for popping by my blog. I left one comment on Robyn O's blog - that doesn't seem to be there now so not sure what's going on :-( Anne x @ 9

Hi Janet,
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear you've been sick. I know what it's like to lose all incentive when you're not feeling up to par. I noticed the boxes and wondered what they are -- chocolates definitely help me feel better!!!
