Hi Janet
ReplyDeleteWhat a great example of Less being More. This is a very simple card but it is beautiful in both it's colour and size. Lovley

That's a perfect example of Less is More. I love it. I prefer this type of card to over-the-top cards some people make.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on winning one of the jewelry kits. Lucky you!! The bracelet(s) are gorgeous.
I had to comment on your comment to me today. You are right about your mica powders having the binder already in them. Tim Holtz uses gold and silver, then adds dye reinker ink to the mister. Although I have a few of those distress inks, I find it wasteful to use that instead of the pearl-ex. I was looking for a way to make these misters, since they are all the rage, but never found anything that used just a colored mica powder without adding the ink, too. And believe me, I looked and looked. So that's when I decided to come up with something on my own. I added the glue but you wouldn't need to, since yours already has binder in it. I'm sorry that yours aren't as intense as mine, but I used several scoops of mica powder. That may be why mine are so intense.
Again, thanks so much for the visit. I hope you had a lovely Easter.
ah deceptively simple that card Janet well done for getting it right sometimes CAS are the hardest to do, Shaz in oz.x
