Is it really week 200, doesn't time fly when you are having fun?
Yes! and it is fun and addictive. See what WOYWW is all about here hostess Julia will guide you along the way.
This is a sideways view of my desk this week.... I am hiding what is to the left.
What do you see?
I had a good idea for this weeks post ... something about being an artist, I'm not, that was the point. Trouble is I can't remember what it was all about. . . . menopause memory strikes again!
I think it was something to do with the artistic process. I decided to make my ATC for the 4th anniversary over the Easter weeekend. The process of how you get from
THIS
TO THIS
TO THIS
AND FINALLY THIS
Well obviously I am not showing the finished one.
I will post more over the next few weeks. . . the artistic process if you want to call it that.
I wanted this ATC to reflect some of my favourite things... well you knew buttons would have to be in there somewhere didn't you?
anyway pull up a chair grab a cuppa and treat yourself to a little blog hopping..... don't feel guilty, if you enjoy it .....DO IT!
If you take the time to visit ...why not leave a comment... I will visit you back, eventually. Please leave your Mr Linky no. so I can find you.

Hi Janet,
ReplyDeleteOh, I beg to differ -- you are an artist of many talents! I love the ATC so far. i'm so glad you showed what Distress Pads you use - love the effect!
I don't know what number I am yet - but will more than likely be in the triples digits.....
Happy WOYWW
Peace,
Kay
Hi janet thanks for sharing your very creative desk today...love the cute button ATC's...Happy WOYWW...hugs kath (23) xxx
ReplyDeleteHi, and you put me to shame with the atc's - haven't even started thinking about mine yet... crikey, better get a shift on (specially as I mis-counted my post today and though it only 199...) have a great day.Helen, 4
ReplyDeleteOf course buttons have to be on your atc's, good for you getting them created. Dont worry about the memory, it only forgets the stuff you should forget.
ReplyDeleteHappy WOYWW

please don't beat yourself up over the memory thing, I have fibromyalgia and fibro fog gets in my way so many times.
ReplyDeleteGreat work on your ATC backgrounds I look forward to seeing the finished cards.
Enjoy your WOYWW sunny day today

Love your backgrounds - the colours are so spring-like and I really like your stencil - I'm a bit of a buttons fan too, I'm about to make some sugarpaste ones for cupcakes and I'm hoping it's ok to use the same mould that I've had paper pulp and clay in!
ReplyDeleteThis is great! I never knew about those dusters! But I have to say that I use my stamps only to pimp my snail mail. I haven't really looked into other things your can do with it :)
ReplyDeleteHere is mine: http://uniflamecreates.blogspot.nl/2013/04/woyww-homework-and-snailmail.html
I did know about you and the buttons and the stencil is just perfect! I also think the colours are 'you' too..one of the many things I like about the ATCs we did last year is that I can mostly pick 'em out by what I know of the artist!
ReplyDeleteLove the backgrounds, must have a go at this.Really strange how the world works- Yesterday afternoon my Craft Stamper arrived, and on the cover was a card made with glitter- I'd been working with glitter all day! And inside there is one on making a similar background to yours, but they added water to theirs!I thought then it was cool, but yours is ace. Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz.xx
ReplyDeleteLooks fabulous, really love your blends, colours and the way you incorporated the button masking in your design x
ReplyDeleteHappy WOYWW Heather #71
Well now you're teasing us with those fab ATC backgrounds. We can't wait to see the finished product.
ReplyDeleteWaving hi from the bears @#69 this week.
What a lovely idea for the ATCs - you are good starting on them - I haven't a clue what to make yet! Just 2 months now and we are back at the crop! YIPEE!
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely week!
Lots of hugs,
Cardarian
Loving the backgrounds - once I tidy up my desk and unearth the partially finished ones from about 3 weeks back, I may actually finish them up LOL!

ReplyDeleteThese are lovely! I adore the colours and the buttons! Lauren #127 x
ReplyDeleteHi Janet, great colours, and the finished effect is great!
ReplyDeleteNow, it might just be my strange view of the world, but your white hanging bottle of something with the yellow lid, sat to the right of your crafty desk, puts me in mind of a duck! Or maybe my menopausal mind has lost a few more synapses lol!
Happy woyww
