Hi Peeps
Back for round 242 of What's on your workdesk Wednesday ... so soon.
to find what it's all about go here http://stamping-ground.blogspot.co.uk/ join in if you dare or just ... enjoy the ride!
Here's this weeks desks... two for the price of one again this week.
My main desk, more hot pink on the wedding invites .... not finished yet, had a few problems. Trusty heat gun broke so I couldn't do any of the embossing... thank you amazon for sending the new one so quickly. the green roll on the left is a 60m roll of masking (oil resistant ) paper which cost me 95p in Inexcess .... bargain.
My messy desk has my page for my documented life journal. I am enjoying this challenge but there is such a lot of stuff on FB to look at that I seem to be neglecting my bloggy friends ... for which I am sorry guys, I will be better next week.
The purple tube (Pringles) at the back is a little project GD Erin is working on .... its going to be a pencil holder box.
Anyway that's all folks ... its late Tuesday and I'm off to bed.
I will visit later after work or sooner if I can get my phone to work, so please leave your number so I can find you.

Pink and purple, gotta love these desks! Susanne #66
ReplyDeleteWow, love the shape and the bright pink on the invitations you are working on, can't wait to see them completed! I had a heat gun fail in the middle of a project and got another one. Then I hated the new one, and had to find a regular one. I think the original one lasted 12 years,so I should complain. Erin is just darling! Love that you craft together. What a clever pencil holder! Bet it was fun for her and for you watching her enjoy herself! Winnie#68
ReplyDeleteThat pencil holder looks like it will be great!
ReplyDeleteYou have a lot on with all those wedding invites

Goodness, Erin has grown since I last dropped by!
ReplyDeleteShe'll be the envy of all her friends with her very own pencil tube.
Happy Wednesday

Love all your busy-ness! Can't wait to see more of the wedding invites--I'll be helping my niece with some this year. Happy WOYWW! Sandy Leigh #80
ReplyDeleteI definitely had to biggify that top photo to figure out what was going on there with all those pink things. Well, now I'm curious what these wedding invites are going to look like. EEK--about the heat gun. Nothing is worse than products breaking mid-project. I broke a circle punch once and whilst grousing about hubby offered to help trace the ones I had and cut them out with scissors. I thought that was very nice of him, not being crafty at all. We dashed off to the craft store and got a replacement punch instead. Lucky because they don't always have them.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you are doing well, and bless Erin, love seeing the little ones craft. Her pringles pot is going to be fabulous! Take care Zo xx 59
ReplyDeleteHi Janet, as I fully expected, my Documented Life thingy is falling by the wayside, not done the latest two. So annoying when your heat gun packs up! Had it happen to me one Christmas, got a replacement pretty quick. Then I bought the Heat it Tim gun 'cos its so quiet. Keep the old blue one as a spare now, just in case! Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz #33 xx
ReplyDeleteStill have my TDL page laying on my desktop, ready to be finished, hopefully this week!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful GD, love it when mine come to play with me too.
Have a great week

ReplyDeleteI love seeing grandchildren/children crafting along with us :o) Your first comment did make me smile, because a college friend of mine showed her daughter some photos of us back in the day and she things I look like Kristen Stewart AKA Bella in the Twilight movies! Hope you get to catch up on some of that missed sleep soon x
ReplyDeleteYes - I love to involve youngsters in crafting projects - they soon develop skills for life! x Jo
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice post ~ you are busy! And, yes, as others have said, seeing youngin's create is a joy!
ReplyDeleteHi Janet, thank you for your visit today. Erin's pencil case looks an awesome project. By the way, filigraphy is really zentangle, but there is something of a copyright issue about the word zentangle, so Barbara Gray from Clarity invented the work Filigraphy to use with some of her stamps and ideas. xx Maggie
ReplyDeleteWOW busy desks! Erin seems happy working on her pencil case. I love decorating tubes/boxes etc will have to try that. btw my acceptance had to do with me be more accepting in all aspects of my life not just my art! Have a great week. Vickie
