WOYWW273 my cure for piles

Hi deskers
Goodness but these Wednesdays come around quick .... Maybe it's just that I have been so busy and it was a bank holiday weekend .... So I'm a day behind.
Anyway desk time again, if you are of a nosey disposition and like crafty stuff ....Even if you don't it's very interesting.
Different desk this week . ...... aka my dining room table

I'm in the middle of making a bag. Using up some of those zips I have had on my desk for a few weeks .... Well that was the plan.... But none of them were the right colour/size / type .... Oh well c'est la vie.
The little yellow pot has my wonder clips in ... Magic little clips I use instead of pins
Here's the bag......

I love this fabric. I'm making it as a carry on bag for our trip to Colorado next month.... Just in case there is any mistaking us for locals. Lol
I have also found a cure for piles ... On my usual desk.....
Boxes

I was recently given 10 of these beauties I haven't filled all of them yet .... Give me time .... Just give me time.

If you would like to know more about me and my schtuff, I am joining in with The  Creative Blog Hop next Monday so pay me a visit if you can.
Anyway that's all folks  if you would like me to visit you back .... please leave your name and number so I can find you.

  17. Hi Janet,

Great bag! I'm curious to know where in Colorado you'll be? I lived in between Golden and Boulder for a while while I was working at Rocky Flats (which has long ago been shutdown). Lucky you to get those storage boxes! Great organization.

Thank you for visiting me already this morning.
    Happy WOYWW

  20. I love your bag. I am so jealous of gals that sew. I'm afraid I am a lost cause. Your room is way too organized. Enjoy your trip to Colorado. My best buddy lives there. You are going at the perfect time.

  21. Lol at your blog post title, Janet!! Ha ha!! I see you've got the same sewing machine as me. I got it in May but unfortunately have been too busy with other projects to get going on it yet. It's beautiful, isn't it! I love your bag, and the fabric is really great, and I am sure it will generate lots of comments. I am also taking part in the Creative Blog Hop - my post was on Monday this week. I am interested in the clips you use instead of pins - can you give me some more info about these, please?

Thanks for your visit and your nice comment - lol re my poor desk! I am hoping to garner enough energy today to get the office sorted (my hubby has brought the rug down from the loft) and then maybe I can actually get at the desk!

If you want the full recipe for the fruit lasagne, please email me - I am sure it would work with any kind of fruit - plums sound great! The apple one is certainly delicious.

Have a great trip to Colorado, and happy belated WOYWW,

  22. love that post title too! I love the bag and there is such a conglomerate of people in Colorado you might get confused! Found out my sewing machine I haven't used in 10 years was a brand name one...Janome...still doesn't make me feel anymore like sewing then I did before. I need to get into it again cause I used to make all my clothes and house hold items. Have a fun trip. Vickie #75

  24. That bag is gorgeous, so bright and cheery. Plus it's functional, you can use if in London if you get lost but that won't help in Colorado I suppose. Glad you managed to clear up your problem with piles :)
    Have a great week.
