HI wednesday peepers
I'm mixing my blog posts together this week as I dont seem to be getting anything done except blogging, how do you all find the time to craft and blog?,
On the left is the new book I had for my birthday, great for when I get time to experiment with 'stuff'.
At the back on the right is a lovely cupcake pin cushion Anne at work made me, again for my birthday.
Also on my desk this week is the remains of my grungy monday piece.
Linda ledbetter from studiol3. sets a challenge using the techniques of the fab Tim Holtz .
This week it is PERFECT DISTRESS. The first piece I made along with Tims video,(but had to keep pausing to 'find' stuff LOL), the colours were too similar so I made another one. I'm just getting into Christmas card making, so I thought why not?
The reindeer is from the Octopode Factory, I love their designs.
I was actually really please with the finished piece. The reindeer is really shiney, it looks almost like gunmetal. His nose is finished off with red stickles, just for the true rudolf look!!! Thanks to Vicky for the snow flake die cut, it is perfect to add a delicate contrast to the tag.
here's looking at you!

I have also entered into the following challenges

Those tags are pretty wonderful and I really liked looking at your desk... looks to be a great mix of perfectly organised and perfectly creative ... happy WOYWW xx
ReplyDeleteBlimey - 'Surface Treatment'...sounds a very scarey and professional way to talk about what we do to card and paper!! Have fun with that. I agree about the snowflake die on your lovely tag - really adds a lovely delicate touch.
ReplyDeleteThe technique really worked very well and I agree those snow flakes are beautiful Dxx
ReplyDeleteWell I had a good rummage round your desk and was delighted by all that I found ;) My mum has been sent on a mission to find me a good pin cushion for a Christmas present!
ReplyDeleteLoving your tags, and I know exactly what you mean about blogging/crafting. I can never get both done at the same time. I either blog hop, and don't have time to craft, or vice versa.Sorry I am late visiting, Blogger has been a real pain this week.
ReplyDeletei do like octopode stamps - mostly because I don;t really like cute, I just wish we could find elegant and grown up stsmps too so I didn't have to draw every design I want to do for Christmas myself....that said hero arts often do nice stuff..
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, I love that reindeer! Awesome tag. Great job on this technique.
