happy Wednesday
So you want to see my desk do you? really, ok then ....here it is
This was taken Tuesday evening about 7.30 I am sorting through a pile of stamps .... postage, not rubber for a change. being a bit OCD I am organising them into types... ordinary uk, Christmas, special uk and foreign, well it makes sense to me.
I am about to start a big new project (more next week, if I get it started) and am just looking for stuff to put on it, something to make me S M I L E........... Mmm intriguing.
On the left is my Compendium of Curiosity book..... by you know who, I brought this a while ago but haven 't really had the time to look through it, I am going to use it for this new project.
Anyway do you want to see what I have been up to last week..... having fun with my glue gun..... how ?..... you ask .... this is how
See it here
made an interesting mask for DIs and sprayed with mica mist
Then I accidentally made these .... you know .... a what if moment ... I coloured them with alcohol inks. funkey huh!
I also made some tags for a swap using my Gelli plate prints. The eye on the middle one is cut from a can of pepsi ..... good recycling eh!
like my desk? or not.... visit Julia here who has lots more desks on her books or rather post. Do visit ... join in if you can its very addictive but great fun.
Please don't just pass through without a comment .... just say hi and I will visit you back
coz that's the whole point isn't it?

Thanks for visiting - no, I didn't design the picture as well. It's a wooden backed rubber stamp by Woeds like honey. I love it, and use it a lot. Just so simply styled so the message comes through easily.

Hello, I am sending this to everyone. Im sorry I am not going to be able to get to all the desk and I have now lost my sheet of paper that I was writing them down on. I don't think my cat is going to make it through the night to even see the vet. She is old just like my dog so I guess they are going to get sick at the same time or so. I just going to copy and paste and sorry to every one that I didn't get to read.. I just cant do it right now. Thank you Roberta 40 and bright blessings to all.
ReplyDeleteWow, think I'd better get my glue gun out! Love how you've coloured it with ink. Hugs. Pam#36
ReplyDeleteAfraid I don't 'get on' with my glue gun. It takes on a life of its own and I get covered in the stuff. Great results though and that mirror is so sweet.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting

Looks like a LOT of fun can be had with a hot glue gun. I love the earrings, I'll have to give that a go myself, I think!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by. I've managed to raise my head above the box mountain to peer at the computer long enough to do a bit of blog hopping - not much is being unpacked as it's only a 6 month sojourn in this property till we find something more permanent!
wow to those earrings - how awesome!!

Hi Ms. Janet.. TY for visiting and leaving such a kind comment. I couldn't agree more with you about what a wonderful and caring group this is. Truly remarkable!!! So I love all your crafty little projects. I've had some thoughts and ideas on using aluminum cans, I'm just terrified I'll slice off a finger. I love recycling, reusing, and repurposing materials into art. I also LOVE what you did with the glue gun!!! I'm now following you!! (((HUGS)))
