Happy Wednesday one and all. Grab a coffee and a comfy chair and take a whirlwind tour around the globe, hopping from desk to desk. Julia is your personal pilot see her references here. stamping-ground.
My desk this week is a tale of 3 halves...... yes 3!
a button cuff for my Etsy shop, (see the button on the left side bar), ribbon, glue, some stamps and a random yellow ink pad (from my little Tuesday helper)
the right hand side
At the back you can just see the little box I made from an idea by jozart a ....mine is only a gift box hers is fabric and much better
the left hand side
more ribbon, stamps, a paper pad and lots of snippets of Christmas paper . . . yes I have finally started, but they may not be for me.
The far left
some random sequins . . . not sure how they got there.
At the back the new easel I brought to photograph cards for the blog.
My box of snippets is still getting smaller, the aim is to empty it by the end of the year. Fat chance!
Well that's me done, so come, on join in do, its great fun and very inspirational. You never know where it will lead you.

3 halves?? Can I have the biggest piece please :-)
ReplyDeleteLove that little pyramid box, I saw the deign on Jo's site. It looks great in both fabric and paper. Good luck with the snippet finishing, I don't think I'll ever get through my fabric stash...sigh.... No matter how much I use, it keeps on filling up with new fabric. Mysterious eh??? ;-)

A lovely bust desk, lots going on. Still haven't done my Christmas cards, have made a start though, thanks for sharing, Donna #40

I try so hard to reduce my snippets but they seem to grow all by themselves!!! Good Luck with yours.
ReplyDeleteSome gorgeous things on your desk.

Great pics, I too planned to use up my scraps, even put them in a drawer right behind me to encourage that. Trouble is, for every one I use, I create 3 more- getting nowhere fast. Have a great week, Hugs Shaz #36xx
ReplyDeleteYou have a little bit of this and a little bit of that on your desk. I'm impressed that you got around to using any of your snippets and scraps let alone made a difference in the size of the pile. I have good intentions but they never work out. Now I donate my scraps to a lady who does punch art flowers. It takes the pressure off. I'm impressed with the size of the finished Christmas card pile. Judy #81
ReplyDeleteWell done for using up snippets.. I try, I really do! Love your desk in 3 halves... maths was never my strong point either! Have a great week Helen 3
ReplyDeleteI want a bar of chocolate with three halves...would be as delicious as your desk. cuffs and cards missus, you're as busy as ever. I sort of don't blame you for not making envelopes..gah, it's too much for me after the effort of the cards!!
ReplyDeleteWell done for making an impression on the snippets box. Every time I use a piece from mine, I seem to make two more to go back in! I was inspired by JoZart this week too. I love the way folk generously share their ideas and allow, even encourage us, to have a go for ourselves. Kate x #84
ReplyDeleteCute box! Now, I am not sure what a snippet is...I am thinking little pieces of this or that....I have filled up yet another box of pieces of paper, I did not use, I try, so hard to use from that pile, and I do, but like the lady above, I add at least two more back..I guess it's almost time for another "shut my eyes and throw away" time....maybe for January 1, 2014...maybe that's when I will do it....I had a friend who called me a piffer because I saved all my scraps and used scraps first....so am I a piffer or a sniffer? LOL...time to end this reply, don't you think?

OH kay, I'm going to admit--all you woywwers with the finished piles of Christmas cards are starting to make me a little sad. Janet, you may have pushed me over the edge to just buy cards this year, lol!!!!
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed your three halves this week, you busy lady!
Thank you for stopping by,
