WOYWW 214

Hi world 
Time again to nosy  at the work desks of the world. I am away from my desk today  on a workshop at art van go.  
But here is my desk on Tuesday eve before I left. 
Not much going on..... Just stuff! 


The mat covered with strawberries on is the glass mat I use as a heat mat when I am using shrink plastic.  I made a necklace with it on Saturday. If you look carefully you can kust see the left overs i shrank just to see what if?
At the back are a load of sparkly brads I brought in the sale at work, don't you just love crafty sales!
There's some inka gold ( I love that stuff)
No scissors today as they are going with me.

Finally here is the necklace set  I made with the shrink plastic.

    That is one fabulous necklace. Gotta love it. My friend has one of those glass plates, too. She's not a crafter, and uses hers in her kitchen. Such a waste (grin). Happy WOYWW from #2.

    My glass mats are also in the kitchen, and I cheat with the shrink plastic - I do it in a foil tray in the oven, which seems to work better than risking the heat gun - have you ever watched Barbara Gray and Dean Wilson on YouTube doing shrink plastic? Always good for a giggle. Love your necklace and I would never have thought of doing a necklace like that with the shrink plastic.     I love that necklace you made - I've never tried shrink plastic but it looks great - something else to go on my 'to try' list! Hope you have a great day with Art Van Go - Jane and I spent too much money at their stall on Friday in Eastleigh - they have some great supplies!

    Super necklace and love your strawberry mat... now you'll be needing one of my strawberry wipe clean table covers. I've still got them stowed away! Must remember and you can have one when we get together. Nice neat desk and mine is catching up slowly.
    BTW...I was up at 4am for a visit to the loo and the laptop was upstairs so I linked up.

    Hehehe, I could have done with that necklace to wear while I was slaying dinosaurs!! It's really cool! Have fun on the class and sounds like you got a great bargain, working at the store allows you to be in the know of the upcoming sale and get first dibs!

    Looks like pretty fun stuff to me and that necklace set is beautiful. I'm not usually a *green* person, but it works so well with the copper. I hardly visited anyone last week so having a quick catch up today :o)
